finding rootschatters
« on: Tuesday 04 October 05 06:53 UTC (UK) »

I'd like to send a rootschatter a personal message but he doesn't come up in a search.  I presume this is because he has yet to post a message.  Is there any way I can find him?

Hi bearkat,I never tried this myself but this is how I think it should work:
Go to your message box and click 'new message'. A window opens for your new message and you are invited to type in the member name in the first line. Just to the right of this field, there is a 'find member' option.

Yes, That worked.
He has made several posts so I'm surprised his name didn't appear when I searched rootschat.  I have usually been able to find members this way.

At least I've found him now and learnt something new about this site.
Thanks again.
