John Meldrum

I would like to know a lot more about John Meldrum of Cargill/St Martins. He was alive for the 1841 Census but not the 1851 as his wife( married 1824) Isabella (Scott)is marked widow. He was a Kirk Elder and either a Publican or Medical doctor . His family included a son John Pringle Meldrum who had a clothing shop in Perthuntil 1867.
If anybody has any information I will be pleased to hear from them. Smiley
