Is there any way I can find the gravestone inscription (if there is one) for my g-g-g-g-grandmother Jane Cutts who's buried in Welford Rd cemetery in Unconsecrated ground. She died 1862 - her address was Archdeacon Lane Saint Margarets.
I can't get to Leicester and wonder if anyone knows whether the inscriptions are online, or published anywhere.
Thanks - I'd appreciate any help.

Liecester and Rutland FHS have CD available for Welford Cemetery. I am not sure whther it just list the burials or whether it covers any inscriptions. It can be purchased online at:

Thanks David - I bought the CD, thinking it would contain the inscriptions, but it just lists the names, addresses and dates. This is a help but I'm hoping the inscription might give me a few more details about my 4g-grandmother.

I know they covered Welford Cemetery twice. Once in the Leicester Borough CD and more recently in the Welford Cemetery CD. I don't know which one you purchased or whether they are any different but it could be worth asking.
