Does anyone have a passenger list for the Gallington family who emmigrated from London, England to Providence, Rhode Is, USA in 1852.
John Gallington born 1816
Sarah (wife) born abt 1820
Children Sarah born 1851, Catherine born 1845, John Benjamin born 1847, Thomas James born 1849 and Henry A born at sea 1852 ( on the way over)

Hi,
passenger lists for Providence and Bristol/Warren are Customs Passenger Lists held at the Rhode Island Historical Society.
Many are missing from the National Archives microfilm for the same period of coverage.
I will get you a link so that you can find out about getting the film, or can contact the RI hist. society

Thanks. I have now been to the site and while I cannot find the Gallingtons, they appear to keep updating the site so will bookmark it and keep checking from time to time.
