I have three marriages from the IGI for which I would like to know if there is more information in the parish register or Banns Book. The husband in all cases is a Thomas Major and I am trying to find out which is which Thomas:
26 Jan 1795 to Mary Sear at Woughton on the Green
3 Jul 1795 to Susannah Inns at Woughton on the Green
11 Jan 1796 to Sarah Stevens at Great Linford
This latter pair seem to have baptised their family in Woughton

Hi David
Have just checked Woughton on the Green so far
On both marriages the parish records are very basic...
just names/ date/ .Does not state age or sadly parents.
Not sure what use it may be but I have the witnesses names..
26 Jan 1795 witnesses Wm Cook/ R. Goodman
3 July 1795 witnesses Thos Shouler!/ Mary Parrot.
Also the first couple signed with their marks
the second signed their names.
Will check Grt Linford on next visit.

The Goodman witness slightly biases me towards that Thomas but with Woughton being a small place I can't be sure.
