Maria Thompson - PARTIALLY COMPLETE
« on: Saturday 30 October 04 12:06 UTC (UK) »

Hi.
I am looking for the whereabouts of my 2xg.grandmother Maria Thompson.  Maria was born Maria Bonney in 1812 in Sudbury and married William Thompson in the 1830s in Sudbury.   The only census I have found her on is the 1851 for Sudbury when she was stated as a widow and living with two of her children William and Ann Maria. There is no sight of her in the 1861 census, Ann Maria is married by that time and William is in lodgings, he is also in lodgings in 1871 and 1881 . Also no sight so far in the 1841 census of the family.  I have no idea when William senior died.  I have found no record of a remarriage for Maria or a death under Thompson in Sudbury.
The term abducted by aliens springs to mind.  Any help or ideas much appreciated.
Sue

Hi: Thompson is an name which can be quite easily mis-spelt in records e.g Tompson, Thomson. Have you allowed for that?

Just to say that William and Maria and family were found in London in 1841.

Still looking for any record of their deaths.
