James HOWDEN Head M 50 Coal miner (birthplace states "Emily" which I assume to be "EMLEY")
Eliza Wife M 45 Worsted weaver Baildon
James Son S 16 Coal miner Bowling
Richard Son S 14 Coal hurrier Bowling
Anne Dau S 7 Scholar Bowling
I can see it won't be easy with this lot!

I think my Ackroyds are like your Holdens - they cannot decide where they were born! However I am satisfied that it is mainly from the Liversedge area with a slight slant towards Halifax. They did however escape to Doncaster for one of the census years, which isn't a million miles away.
