Before i travel miles to check this ,  can anyone tell me if it covers up to 1926/27.

I have grandparents born then and i thought the index finished b4 then

The indexes to the registers of births, deaths and marriages in England and Wales are no longer kept at Saint Catherine's House. They have moved to Myddleton Street also in London.
If you log on to http://www.familyrecords.gov.uk/frc  you can update yourself there. You may not even have to travel.

the 1837 site has BDM right up to date it is a pay site but could be cheaper than traveling to London  sandie
