Hi,

Good luck with this very impressive and much needed site.

Just to let you know that Carnarvon Traders has moved, and can now be found at:

Caernarvon traders is an excellent website particularly for people researching relatives in Caernarvon town.

The site is managed by Keith who has done an excellent and dedicated undertaking in putting all the local information up on this site for the world to find their ancestors.

There is a great oocupations and traders section listing many names and very uniquely Caernarvon had an earlier census taken in 1794, this is so unique and its on the site for us all to benefit from.  How many family historians wish they had that in the town of their ancestors?

Please kep up the great work on this website Keith as I keep going back there to take account of the new changes.
best wishes
Gareth

Many thanks for your kind words Gareth. The census project has been on the back burner somewhat over the last twelve months, and I really need to get my finger out and complete it. There are two enumeration districts already transcribed and needing only to be checked before going online. Hopefully I can gee myself up to do the checking pretty soon (this is the worst part of the project, and is a great cure for insomnia Cheesy).

Regards,

Keith.
