Name Index to Poor Law Settlement Papers

I have this in my possession and what it contains a full name index of c40,000 names.  It includes Settlement Certifcates, Removal Orders, Settlement examinations and records of Apprenticeships and Bastardy Examinations.

This only provides the name what parish they came and went to and year it was approved. If you want the document you will have to apply to Essex Records Office for this. The date range is
c.1574-1865
