My Mum: Heather Frances LAWLER

After the death of her first husband Robert RAINEY, Annie RAINEY (m.s. ROBB) apparently married and had further children with a Mr GORDON.
Annie's son with Robert RAINEY was named Robert also and he was born abt. 1888. That is the only date I have to go on...
All of these births and marriages are said to have occured in or around Belfast.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sarah. I.am having a wee bit of a problem with your posting.
There is just to many Robert Rainey's, in 1884 there are 4 Robert Rainey's living in Belfast.
In 1870 there is 1 R,Rainey in 1896 there is 5 Robert Rainey's & 6 R,Rainey's.
1900 there is 8 Roberts & 10 R, Rainey's
Do you have anymore info that could help us, what he work at?.

Annie's son, Robert RAINEY'S occupation as listed on his marriage certificate, 1919:
Ironmoulder (Journeyman).
But by this time, he was living in Scotland...

Robert Rainey Ironturner 15 Lucknow St.
If this is him he could have worked for,
James Mackie Co Ltd Iron Foundy was just a cross the road.
