higginson/williamson family

i am looking for help in tracing my husbands irish roots. all i have so far is that his grandmother Charlotte Higginson was born in sandyrow belfast. she married Thomas McAlister of glasgow in 1932.  Her parents were William Higginson and Margaret Williamson. i have no dates for any of them.

any help would be great

Hi Christine,
                  there was a William and Margaret Higginson who signed The Ulster Covenent in 1912.
Their address was 12 Beggs Street.
The Higginsons signed at Sandyrow
    Hopes this helps.

I don't know if the following will help: my great-great-grand mother was a Higginson. She( Jane Higginson) was married to John McLernan(McLernon) in 1833 and can be found on the 1851 Census for Antrim county, Ballinderry Parish at 40 Derrykillultagh Townland.

Please let me know if you tie into this.
