1841 Look Up Please - HUGHES

Hello  Smiley

I would be grateful for information regarding the family of Marah (sic) Hughes born c1804  in the 1841 Census. Relevant details from 1851 include:

Lowther Village, Lowther, Westmorland
William LONGLEY Head widower 69 Joiner b. Newbiggin, Westmorland
Marah (sic) HUGHES daur widow 47 Housekeeper b. Penrith, Cumberland

I have already posted a similar request on the Westmorland Board for Longley, but it doesn't seem to be raising any response.

Any additional family information would be appreciated.

Hi Jim

Many thanks for the link - it has provided me with additional information on William Longley (I feel sure it is one and the same as shows in the 1851) - I already have Sarah as the wife. What is more significant is that it also shows a George Longley who I didn't have, and may provide a vital link.
