Just for reference:

In the  Bedfordshire Times & Citizen this week [14/10/2005], there is a public notice about some kerbstones that need to be removed for safety reasons [the kerbstones are the small stones adjoining the headstones I believe] at St Mary's, Haynes.  Prior to removal the Parish wishes to obtain permission from relatives.  Where the headstones are unsafe they will be laid down flat.  Enquiries to:
The Verger, 36 Longden Close, Haynes, Bedford, MK45 3PJ.
