Hi again Joejoe1
I have just found an image of Pitsford 1901 with the family and John's parents on all in same household that should narrow down the marriage date for you.

James Blundell Head M 54 Ironstone Labourer Miner Welton? Northants Gertrude Wife M 42 Nottingham Frederick Son S 15 Farm Labourer Ag Great Bowden, Leics Lucy Daur S 8 Oakham. Rutland John Blundell Head M 31 Ironstone Labourer Miner Great Bowden, Leics Eleanor Wife M 25 Belton, Rutland Elizabeth Gertrude 2 Pitsford, Northants

Hi joejoe1
I noticed that when I posted the 1901 information that it seemed as though James had a 2nd wife as John's mother seems to be an Emma.
Will post the other information in a mo when I have typed it off.
Also note how people changed their places of birth which is always something to think of if you can not find someone.
Cheers Sandy

Hi joejoe1
This could be why you could not find the marriage as Eleanor is noted as Ellen which is often the case.
You could cross-reference with the father's name to make sure it is the one you need.
From freebmd Marriage Jun Qtr 1896
John Blundell to Ellen Buxton Oakham 7a 673
Cheers Sandy
