re- my cookley search
« on: Tuesday 18 October 05 22:24 UTC (UK) »

hello again
I have found out more info since my last request, I was given the wrong surname. it should have been Joseph Harrison and he had a wire & nail factory until 1892.  on which The Bull Head public house now stands.
so any Census information between 1881 onward may help my search.
thank you again

Hi
How old was Joseph, where was he born do you know his parents name, just a tad more info is needed to look him up for you as there are just too many many Josephs Harrisons to sift through to find your man

I have some new info, I need to trace the census records for Eleanor Harrison born july 1871,she was the eldest daughter of Alfred and jane Harrison of austcliffe farm. ( alfreds father was Joseph Harrison the person I wanted to start my search from.)  he was a famous cookley person, and built an iron bridge over the river stour for his workers to get to work in his factory, it was a wire and nail factory. any help with this search would be gratefully  appreciated
