Hi just go to any census & put in the name of the person your looking for & his age & were he was born or were you think he is in the census & the year he was born.

Alternatively, you also have FreeCen, which as the name implies, is free to search. It has 100% coverage of Roxburghshire now thanks to all the volunteers' hard work  Wink:

I'm searching for the parents of Thomas Gordon born 1794 in Jedburgh, Roxburghshire.  He was married 20 Dec 1822 in Roxburghshire, Melrose I'm told.  Also the parents of his wife, Margaret Smith born 1800, Newstead, Melrose, Roxburghshire.  Any help would be deeply appreciated.
