Could you please see if there is an entry for 1841 in Kemberton, SAL for
 
THOMAS HARPER (b @ 1762) & MARY or their children:

JOHN HARPER b 1789
SAMUEL           b 1793


Their other son (THOMAS b 1787) had moved to Rowley Regis, Staffs by 1841.
