Granddad in the Desert Rats

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone could do a search for my other half's GGGrandfather?
His name was Abraham Orsini Anderson and he was probably born around the 1880's.
He married Elizabeth Peel, and their daughter was Helen Ida Anderson b. 1900.
He have info that his parents were James and Ann, but we're not sure.
Any info would be great.

Do you think this is him born in 1870. I checked for births and found an Abraham Orsini Anderson born 1899 in leicestershire which then brought up this family on the 1901 census

Abraham Orsini Anderson was my great grandfather and Charles of course was my grandfather, my father being the son of Charles.
Looks to me like the father of Abraham Orsini Anderson was named after his father who was also Abraham.
Would be nice to get some more information.

Wonderful information, thanks so much.
I would like also (if it is not too much to ask) to get some information on my Mother who's name was Doreen Anderson nee Lee and also from Leicester.
She was born on the 6th May 1926 and of course married my Father Alec James Anderson who was the son of Charles Albert Anderson.
I know my mother lived in Earl Howe Street, Leicester but I didn't know my Grandmothers name, we used to call her "Grandma Lee".
I never knew my Grandads name on my mothers side, so I cannot give any info. All I know is my mother was born on May 6th 1926 and lived in Earl Howe Street, Leicester.
I would appreciate any info.
