Hello!
I too am related to a 'Kerslake' family from Devon.
However my family are not from either Westleigh or Burlescombe, but from Cheriton Fitzpaine and Crediton. 'Your' villages are located a short distance east of Tiverton, while 'my' towns are located south-west of Tiverton, as you can see if you follow this link:
