Tucker from in & around Pembroke
« on: Sunday 23 October 05 13:41 UTC (UK) »

Hello,  I am searching for  a John Tucker born about 1800, he married a Anne Hall 1825 at Stackpole Elidor, he may have came from St Twynnells, they had at least 3 children, George, James and Mary ( my ancestor ) Mary was born 1827 at ST Petrox and she married a James Roberts that was a Soldier in the 36th foot Regiment that came from Hereford but was stationed in Pembroke, are you a Tucker or Hall that came from pembrokeshire ? I would love to hear from you and share any information that we have.  Thank you.

I'm afraid I am not a relative but wondered if you have seen this link.

There are a lot of Tuckers in Stackpole and some in St Petrox.
Hope you find it useful.  Sue

Hello Sue,

Thank you for the link,  I have been on there before & found the marriage of John & Ann Tucker  & a definit birth date for their daughter, even possible dates for her siblings, the only shame is, is that I have been unable to find the two birth dates for the married couple  & even some death dates, but I am grateful for what I got, I did e-mail & had an e-mail back from a Gentleman & he said that they were hoping to put the St Micheal or St Mary ( not sure which ) index down, but it looks like they haven't got round to doing it yet, which is a shame because I think there would be quite a few entries there that would interest me.

Thank you once again Sue for your help.  Rhian

a Gentleman & he said that they were hoping to put the St Micheal or St Mary ( not sure which ) index down,
Not sure about the Gentleman bit, but the rest might be me. I have a number of index's which include Pembs St Mary and St Michael parish registers 1711 to 1950's for baptism mrge and burial.
If I can assist you please let me know, I will do what I can.
For other index's I have completed see Pembrokeshire Lookups on this forum.
