Hi Lesanne,
No!! is the quick answer 
Your picture is only 19kb in size - we would like one with 200kb to get much out of the window! It looks fine on the computer - but not when put into photo software. If you scanned it a 600pbi - don't then reduce the image size down to much to send.
Where is Annie when you need her!

OK Lesanne - one step at a time .... 
If you do a preview scan (most scanners do this) then you can see the photo on screen, and with a selection tool, you can draw a box around the bit that you want.

Once you've done that, find where you change the scanning resolution (it will be in a menu somewhere) and change the resolution to maybe 600 or 800 dpi

Then, just scan it, and the little bit you chose will be the only bit the computer scans! It will be a larger picture and a larger file size than the little one that's currently on the board.
