Hi,

have been avidly following granny face at the window dialogue...probably one of the many folks logging in each day to see what happens next.......
Leasnne glad you have finally got to grips with your scanner..well done.
Deadants, Keith and Pru....you are all stars.
Had a go at the original inbetween reading posts..granny seems to be holding a hankerchief but I had a bit of trouble defining ...also put too much hair colour around left had side of face.

I thought it was a lace collar of some sort. It certainly is going to take some doing to pull much out of these pixels. but at least Lesanne has now got the hang of using her scanner.

Just a quick update..  Grin  Grin Been playing with the scanner.
Have just finished photo album number 3.

Thanks so much to all of you, your patience was really terrific.
I have even managed to move a picture over to a program and mend a rip, with the colours, it doesn't notice at all.

Cheesy  I have to leave it for now, but I have enjoyed playing with all the greyed colour.
I now know why the dpi makes all the difference. I can only marvel at you guys for all your excellent work, restoring the photo's on here.   Keep up the good work.

Hi Lesanne,

Now look what you have started!!  Grin

Can you help me - I want to know the colour of the carpet and also the colour of her eyes!!  Grin

I wonder why mums always hid behind the net curtains - perhaps that is what they were doing for most of the time in those days - while of course all they do today is be on Rootschat!

While of course the men are/were working hard. [drinking, smoking, gambling]

Cheers

Keith
