David Grant Carlisle was born in Bo'Ness, West Lothian on 23 Jul 1892.  His parents were John Grant and Mary Carlisle.  As David was given his mother's surname it is likely that his parents were unmarried.

I would be grateful for any information about David Grant Carlisle and his family.
