DUNCAN family « on: Monday 24 October 05 18:35 BST (UK) »
Towards the end of the 19th C two branches of the DUNCAN family moved up to the Durham area from Wharton (Winsford) in Cheshire. They moved to find work, having already gained experience in the salt industry in Cheshire.
I'm looking for later links to these related families. Most of my resources are for Cheshire, so would be glad of any help from Durham listers.

Thanks Susan, I did have a quick look before I posted, but I'm completely lost with boundaries and names in the Durham area as most of my research has been in Cheshire. I shall take your advice and try and explore a few more of the options. odessa.
