Help with 'disappeared' bits of family
« on: Friday 31 October 14 10:29 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone help with a passenger look-up for 2 bits of family who seem to disappear from Dublin?

1. John Lawler m Hannah Crowe, Dublin 2.9.1855. Last record is birth of child William Richard 22.7.1862. Can't find any of them in Ireland or England.

2. Hannah's sister, Mary Jane Crowe m George Graham 17.9.1884. May have had 2 of his children from an earlier marriage with them, Mary Jane b23.8.1878 and Margaret Elizabeth b14.5.1883 (of his 2 other children 1 died & the other stayed in Dublin). Last record I have is their 17.9.1884 marriage.

This date is very close to the marriage and departure for Melbourne of Mary Jane's cousin. Details:
Susan Charlotte Magrath (b1862) m Christopher St John French (b1860) on 13.9.1884.  They left Plymouth on board Sabraon 29.9.1884.

Woud be glad for any info and to know if any other Magrath/Crowe/Lawler on board.

Many thanks
