ABBOTT and BUTLER - Christchurch, Hampshire

Hi everyone

I am looking for information on a branch that has become a thorn in my side.

Thomas Abbott married Priscilla Butler (1757 - ?) on 22 Oct 1782 in Christchurch, Hampshire, England. I think her father is one Calleb Butler. Thomas and Priscilla's children include Percella born in 1788 and Arthur born in 1800 both in Christchurch.

Arthur Abbott married Elizabeth Sanders (1800-?) on 11 Apr 1850 in Westminster, Middlesex, England and he was a builder.

Any information on this family especially on Thomas an Priscilla would be much appreciated.

Cannot see any other children for Thomas and Priscilla - no Arthur

There's a death (no age given) for a PERCELLA ABBOTT in 1841 in Christchurch vol 8 page 101.

There's an Arthur Abbott on the 1861 census - ref RG09/ 82 / 38 / 22.

He's 61 b in Christchurch, married and is a bricklayer.

Family - son Edward 27 married, George 25 single b/layer, Alfred 22 married b/layer all b St James Westminster, Harriet daughter in law 21 b St Mary Dover,  Charlotte, 29 single, b St Pancras, Charlotte Bostock, 10 niece.

no sign of wife Elizabeth though
