Thomas Smith - Royal Irish Rifles
« on: Wednesday 09 December 09 08:03 GMT (UK) »
Morning all,

I am trying to find out as much as I can aboute Thomas Smith of West Point Rd Newry who served in the 1st WW in the Royal Irish Rifles.  He was born 1876/7 and died 26 Jun 1946.  Family legend has it that he lost an eye on entering a German trench.

I would be grateful for any help
Sincerely

David
