Help with marriage

My GGG GF Thomas Ellis married Rebecca Poole in 1839 at Wellington. she was the daughter of Richard. Thomas had a brother, Michael and the only marriage i can find is from 1845 to Elizabeth Dunning. Richards wife was also called Dunning, am i right in thinking Thomas married Richards daughter and Michael married (dorothy dunning)s daughter? before i send for the cert. Also looking for any children Michael had. thanks Neil

Michael Ellis mar. Elizabeth Dunning 12 October 1845 Malinslee Shropshire.
Grooms father: Michael Ellis
Brides Father: WILLIAM DUNNING

ADDED: another date given is 2 November 1845, maybe October date was of the Banns being read/ or if they married by licence

Eliza's bp. record is on FS, albeit there are two different dates again

Eliza bp. 13 / 15 June 1847 Malinslee, Shropshire dau of Michael and Elizabeth.

From what I can see on the census records there were other children all born in Staffordshire
