Hi
   Looking for a James Caird birth c. 1808 Arbroath.

Parents  Thomas Caird/Agnes Anderson married 1803 Arbroath.
James Caird in 1841 census for Blairgowrie.
No luck on Scotlands People
Could anybody help

There is a James Caird in the 1881 census at 12, East Mill Wynd  Civil parish St Vigeans born 1808 aged 73yrs occupation flax canvas weaver hand loom

This baptism ties in with Rosie17īs suggestion, but the parents are different. How sure are you about your original information?

James was an apprentice flax dresser in1821 to James Ritchie father Thomas Caird mother Agnes Anderson. Father was also a flax dresser / heckler later a minister.
On James's second marriage certificate to Helen Clark in Havre de Grase 1859 France it states his father was Thomas occupation minister
First marriage to Elizabeth Skinner who died 1857 Dundee

His father was pastor :Berean Church ; Trades Hall Glassford Street Glasgow in 1855 died Bridgeton 1863 according to tree on Ancestry but no further advanced with a birth for your James  ???

I already have all that information. Only trying to tie up loose ends as to exactly when he was born.
I have seen dates on Ancestry saying when he was born but I am trying to confirm exactly when
he was
