David Scott was born in County Tyrone and married before 1744, probably in Ireland to Isabel Unknown. Isabel emigrated to Virginia and shows in the importation documents with her children in Augusta Co, VA. I do not know if David died in Ireland or on the voyage over. I believe their children to be William, John, Jean, Matthew, Nathaniel, Margaret Frances and Isabella. The last two girls are actually both my direct ancestors through different marriages. Matthew Scott died in 1810 in Madison Co, KY, Margaret Frances Scott Cochran died in 1840, same county and Isabella Scott Mason died 1824 same county. I am looking for any other researchers that are interested in this very early family line!
