John White - ANGLE Pembrokeshire
« on: Friday 17 January 14 20:04 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I am researching the White family from Angle Pembrokeshire.  John White was a Mariner, he died in 1745.  I have found a marriage for him to Esther Scone 28/11/1738, Esther was from St. Ishmael's, Pembrokeshire.

I am looking for a birth date for both him & Esther and any info at all on their parents and families.

Hope someone can help

Susie

I am researching the White family from Angle Pembrokeshire.

Only just out of very long term Ward 10 Withybush not had much time to catch up on what queries are happening.

Have you looked at the other early White wills in the area to see if there is any connection to John ?

P.R.’s do not cover the period of your requirements for Angle as per GENUKI, so looks you will need to research elsewhere

From my database of Burgess of Pembroke Borough 1678 to 2010
Richard White the Glover was registered a burgess  1681-1711
Thomas White Cooper 1708 – 1736
Reece White Glover 1713
Thomas White Cooper 1713
John White 1714
Richard White Glover 1720 – 1634 shown as “Mort” 1734
John White a Taylor 1761
Thomas White Cooper Mort 1761.

George Skone a Yeoman registered burgess 11 Oct 1714

A John White is listed in “Ye West Ward” on the 17 July 1677, charged 09 pence in support of building thirty ships of war for his Majesties Navy.

Richard White is listed for Jury service in 1691 and 1696.
