« on: Saturday 25 January 14 09:48 GMT (UK) »
What do these letters signify please?
Thomas, Davies, Jones, Walters, Daniel in Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. That should narrow it down a bit!
Vincent: Fressingfield, Suffolk, Stockton & Sunderland.
Murtha/Murtaugh: Dundalk & Sunderland
Ingram: Cairnie by Huntly, Scotland then Abergavenny, Monmouthshire.
Bardouleau: London - in memory of my stepmother Annie Rose née Bardouleau who put up with a lot from me.

Hi diplodicus
I'm no expert but having looked at a poll book at the SRO today, I can say that the letters down the left hand side stand for:
O = occupier
C = copyholder
F = freeholder
You could also have had L = leaseholder, PC = perpetual curate, PClk = parish clerk, R = rector, V = vicar

The letters along the top are usually abbreviations and/or initials of candidates for whom voting took place.
