Would anyone know whether any part of Vauxhall mansions, situated between Laud Street and Glasshouse Street (now Walk) in 1900 ish, still remain?  A trip round Google Earth suggests not but locals may know different?

There are several Facebook 'pages' where you might get help

Wandsworth Now and Then
Lambeth Boys and Girls
Battersea Pictures.

There are more, but off the top of my head cannot think of them

But if you go onto Facebook (I only joined to enhance my Family History search) and use the search facility you will find them.

I have spent hours on there looking at all the wonderful photos, of South East and South West London which are to be found on many 'pages'.

As long as you keep your setting private, and only opt to join pages of interest to your search Facebook is a great site.
