Trawsfynydd 1841 Census on-line
« Reply #9 on: Friday 11 February 05 23:36 GMT (UK) »
Another addition to the Census Transcriptions on GENUKI. The 1841 Census of Trawsfynydd.

Trawsfynydd 1841 (http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/MER/Trawsfynydd/1841/index.html)

As the original of this document was in a very poor condition I am not sure how accurate the transcription is, some of the farm names were particularly hard to decipher and many of them are just a best guess; so if anybody sees any mistakes please let me know.

« Reply #10 on: Friday 18 February 05 18:07 GMT (UK) »
Here are the latest census transcriptions on GenUKI

Llanddwywe Is y Graig 1841 (http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/MER/Llanddwywe/1841is.html)

and

Llanddwywe Uwch y Graig 1841 (http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/wal/MER/Llanddwywe/1841uwch.html)

Although technically in the same parish Llanddwywe uwch and is y graig are many miles apart. Llanddwywe uwch y graig is mainly the hamlet of Ganllwyd to the north of Llanelltyd. Llanddwywe is y graig is on the coast between Barmouth and Dyffryn Ardudwy.
