Anyone able to track down a family McCaughey outside Rasharkin, Co Antrim. Father David, mother unknown, son John born approx 1884 and other siblings.

Townland of lisnagarver or Cushybracken.
They should be in the 1901 census.

staying on McCaughey in Co AntrimPerhaps you are related to DAVID MCCAUGHEY, who has  a tenancy  in 1862 in CRUSHYBRACKEN in the civil parish of Rasharkin see

The 1901 irish census no longer has any McCaughey for CRUSHYBRACKEN, but you know there is a connection to Lisnagaver in Ballymoney civil parish (Killoquin Lower, Antrim) and is available to see on

The 1911 irish census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie mystifies me , I couldn’t trace any of the family, it as if they had emigrated.

The family is still there in 1911 (easily found by searching with only 'lisnagaver' in the townland box)- apparently 7 children in the family but only 5 living by 1911:

No problem but not sure if COCOBELLE, the original poster, is even interested since they never bothered to reply to any of the comments here since 2006 although they've logged into Rootschat much more recently.
