POTTER-HACKETT
« on: Wednesday 27 January 10 12:06 GMT (UK) »
I'm looking for any relatives of JOSEPH POTTER and EDITH HACKETT my Grandparents, they married on 15th October 1909 in Clogher Co. Tyrone and lived the greater part of their married lives in Kiltermon, just outside Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone.  Josephs parents were JOHN POTTER and MARY ANNE MURPHY and Ediths were ANDREW HACKETT and ROSE CROZIER all came from the Clogher valley area.

Thanks for replying - Yes I have checked the census and I have a lot of information on these people already so I was hoping someone may have recognised the names and may have more information on them.

Joseph was one of ten siblings:

John Potter (1859)
Robert Potter (1859)
William Potter (1860)
Margaret Anne Potter (1864)
Samuel Potter (b. 1866 d.1869)
James Potter (1867) (my great great grandfather)
Samuel Potter (1869)
Eliza Jane Potter (1871)
Elizabeth Potter (1877)
Joseph Potter (1887)

Three of the Potter Siblings married Hackett:
John married Sarah Jane Hackett  b.1867 - daughter of James and Margaret Hackett
William married Anne Hackett b 1867
Joseph married Edith Hackett

I doubt the three Hackett girls are all sisters but they could be cousins!
Hope this helps
Ben
