I am looking for a wife for Archibald Dunlop born 1705 Kirkmichael, Ayrshire, Scotland.
His first child was born 1724 so he would have been married about 1723.
He has 5 recorded children, all entries only record his name no wife.

I suspect you got the childrens births etc from Family Search - is that correct?

What documentary evidence do you have that Archibald was born in Ayrshire?

Reason I ask is that if he and his wife were born elsewhere - they may have married outside Ayrshire

The children's names of Archibald are:
Robert born 23 Feb 1724 Kirkmichael.
Anne 23 Jan 1726 Kirkmichael.
Margret 25 August 1727 Kirkmichael.
Agnas 13 August 1732 Kirkmichael.
John 16 Dec 1738 Kirkmichael.

These were found on microfilm 1041390 kirkmichael BMD from CJCLDS.

Archibald's birth records are from the same microfilm and also Scotland's People.
I have looked in Ancestry.com, Family Search and Scotland's People for a wife but no success.
