Hello Rosie , in answer to your question it could be my tree on Ancestry when my computer crashed I had a Windows XP system but my new computer system is Windows 8 & security would not allow me access to Ancestry.. when I say it could be my tree there are three other people who's trees share the same lineage of Ancestry two in New South Wales Australia & one in Duneden New Zealand. ( The second William Macdonald born 23/7/1828 is my 2nd great grandfather.) So now all I would like to know is about James Macdonald (b) 13/12/1821 & John Macdonald (b) 15/2/1826 their marriage status & any children they may have had ... kind regards Edward..  :)

It looks like John (labourer) is married to a Mary, and they are both in 8 Madras Street, Inverness in 1871.

Regards

Malky
