Look up in Ridlington Parish Records

I have the following information about Thomas Page (1771-1840) and his wife Mary Hidson (1775 - 1858)

Mary was born in Ayston, Rutland but I wonder if her name was Hudson and not Hidson.

They married in Ridlington Parish Church on 11th October 1795  (Can this be verified please)

Children born in Ridlington:-

John Page 1796
Elizabeth Page 1801
Mary Page 1803
Samuel Page 1806 - 1893
Thomas Page 1809 - 1879
William Page 1813 - 1903

I can find no information about John, Elizabeth and Mary Page.  Is there anything in the Ridlington Parish Records about these three? Does it show that the two women married please? There is the chance that they could have died young and be in the Death Records.

I have been able to find info out about Samuel, Thomas and William.

Hello Elizabeth. Did some research for you. Entries taken from the Ridlington Parish Records cd released by the L&R fhs 1538-1812 and my own microfiche records, Bapt 1813-1965, Marr 1813-1837, Burials 1813-1995. Also the Buriel Index, 2nd Edition.
MARY HIDSON, bapt Ayston, Nov 17, 1771. Marriage, Oct 11, 1795, THOMAS PAGE.
THOMAS, burial, Ridlington, Dec 27,1840. aged 69. MARY, burial, Ridlington, Feb 26, 1858, aged 86.
Children of the above.
KITTY PAGE, bapt, June 21, 1796. The name Kitty and Catherine can be the same as. I mention this because there is a marriage recorded at Ridlington of a CATHERINE PAGE and EVERARD KING, April 15,1815.
JOHN PAGE, bapt, July 22, 1798. Marriage at Ridlington to ANN WEBSTER, April 29, 1824.
JOHN, burial Ridlington, Jan 11,1869 aged 70. Have not located burial for Ann.
ELIZABETH PAGE, bapt Jan 14, 1801. Nothing else found.
MARY PAGE, bapt May 29, 1803. Marriage at Ridlington to JOHN KNIGHT of Uppingham, March 28,1819.

Thanks Andrew for your help with the Page family from Ridlington, Rutland. 

I have a second marriage for John Page which I think may have been possible.
Hannah Hall 3rd Quarter 1858 District Uppingham 7a/389
Death for Hannah Page 1st Quarter 1901 Aged 86 District Uppingham 7a/213
John Page would have been about 60 years on his second marriage

For the time being I will take it that there were two marriages.

With regard to Kitty Page in the Spring I will visit Wigston Records Office and see if I can find a copy of her Marriage Certificate. This may give me a bit more info. Yes, I was thinking of Catherine as an alternative name for Kitty but funny she was baptised as Kitty.

I went to PRONI in Belfast but should have gone to GRO.  Mum was born in Belfast. She was Elizabeth Taylor but most of her married life she was known as Lily Pykett not Elizabeth.  I looked at the Register for where she went to school in Belfast and was amazed to find her registered as Lily Taylor in August 1929. She must have been called Lily even in her younger days which I never knew.

I have a question to put to you about the Dunmores from Preston. Do I have to make a new post please?
