If you ever get stuck again Jackski, a good trick is to check the neighbours on the census - have a look at the addresses 'up and down' the street. You usually come across a street or other landmark which still exists today and this can really help to narrow down the location your family lived even if it no longer exists. If you go to the first page on any census you will see a description of the enumerator's path which can also help greatly.
Compare with a current map and old maps and generally you will have some success.  :)
