Blomer Sisters
« on: Saturday 22 January 11 16:57 GMT (UK) »
I have been looking into my 4x Gt Grandmother Jane Blomer's family and was wondering if anybody could find info on her surviving sisters? I cant even find their names after their individual Christenings? I will give the 4 sisters as follows and hope sombody can find a lead with at least one of them:

Mary Blomer: Christenend - 28th Mar 1794
Ann Blomer: 18th Jun 1800
Sarah Blomer: 30th Mar 1801
Clarinda Blomer: 16th Jul 1806

There was a 5th sister but she died 6 months after birth.

Jane's father was Benjamin Blomer and mother was Charlotte. But the name blomer varies from the girls Chritenings Bloomer to other varients Blowmore, Blowmer, Blomer.

If anyone could help that would be great.

Kind Regards,

Tyrone 8)

Hi,

I've been tracing William Window Phipps so have come across a Clarinda Mary Blomer. I have them marrying in 1795, not 1835 - on Ancestry there's two Pallot enties for them, I believe the 1835 entry is mis-transcibed.

This Clarinda Blomer I have as being born in 1772 in Pershore, worcestershire.

William and Clarinda had two children; Thomas Blomer Phipps b 1796 and Clarinda Mary Phipps b 1803 - I think Clarinda the wife may have died in child birth as William Window Phipps then remarries in 1803 to Frances Saffery (and he is down as being widowed at the time).

William Windows parents were Thomas Phipps b 1724 (possibly Evesham) and Mary Window b 1738 in Gloucester. They married on Nov 2 1766 at St.Nicholas, in Gloucester.

Hope this helps !

-Kevin.

Hi Tyrone,
I am related to Ann Blomer.  I have her birth as 14 Feb 1796 but christined on 18 june 1800 Holy Cross, Pershore.
She married a Robert Woodward on 29 June 1826.  She died on 02 April 1876 in Charlton Kings.  She and Robert are buried in St. Marys Church cemetery in Charlton Kings.

They had four children:  James Woodward born 15 oct 1826 in Coberley, died 23 August 1883.  Buried in Cheltenham cemetery.
Robert Woodward baptised 17 June 1829, Coberley.  Not sure when he died because they had another son who they named Robert born 1838, died 01 March 1908, buried in St. Marys Cemetery in Charlton Kings.  They also had Elizabeth born 1836 in Charlton Kings.

I come James Woodward line.  I do not have a last name for Charlotte either.

Marilyn

What info can u tell me of the rest of the blomers.
