There are some great Old Ordnance Survey maps on this on line shopping site.
Costing £2.20 each. I bought a couple when I went to the FRC and have just bought a few  more.
There is also a London Street Index, I'll get that next time

Holland Street(The one at an angle on the left) is still there

I think Great Guildford Street is now called Park Street joining on to part of Sumner Street

No, Great Guildford Street is still there, South of Sumner Street. Park Street is on the North of Sumner (Sort of a staggered cross road). See my previous posting of modern map.

I also think its been a very interesting topic, particularly as its my rellies, and I'm amazed just how many old maps there are out there.

Now all I have to do is find a spare  day to go down there!

Great maps Dawn, presume then if Moss Alley was still on the 1937 map then the Lufwaffe were probably responsible for its demise. I shall look through the Blitz Then and Now volumes to see if it gets a mention at all.

The LMA have maps which show the sites of major bomb damage in this area
