Hi I have just bought a a beautiful lot of Victorian clothes. Underwear baby clothes nighties shawls. These have only just been discovered in a old farmhouse in Northamptonshire.  One item had the name 'm Hitchcox' on it. All of the items are females including blouses baby christening bonnet. Christening gowns. I would like to keep these as one lot and would love to know who m hitchcox was. If you would like to know more or see pictures that is no problem. I would love these items to stay in the hitchcox family.

Hi Dianneb

Welcome to Rootschat  ;D

Are you able to be more specific with regards to the location of the farmhouse ie which village?

We could then look at ther 1901 census to see if there are any families of this name in the area.
