Not sure if you are still about as your message is quite old and I have only just discovered this site.
I have got quite a few Grosvenors in husbands family tree - from Stourbridge, Rowley Regis, Brierly Hill.  The one I follow mostly is James Alfred born 1888 in Kingswindford.  This was my husbands grandfather.  We think he joined the army, went to India and stayed there as he married in Burma, had my husbands mum (Gertrude Grosvenor) in Burma and then she married in India to his dad who was already over there.
If you reply to this I'll tell you others in the tree but don't want to list them all as its such an old post.  Best wishes, Carol
