McKenzie / MacKenzie of Dalmore
« on: Monday 11 August 14 08:31 BST (UK) »
Is there a link between McKenzie of Dalmore and the McKenzie families in Rinancoillach, Blair Atholl parish in Perthshire?

In the early 1700s, one of the McKenzies of Rinancoillach accepted a bill issued by George McKenzie, brother of Dalmore, Factor to the Earl of Aboyne.

Has anyone looked at the four Testaments of McKenzie of Dalmore, or know of any family connections to the Blair Atholl McKenzies?

We possibly have the wrong Dalmore. It was also the prior name for the current Marr Lodge estate near Braemar, where the McKenzies were forresters.
