GDAY Bob:)
Thanks for your reply...It is a Possibility we may have a Match There.
As U have a JOSEPH CLINDININ married a BETTY MCELROY from Ballinalough Co Down, He Died in 1818
Some of their Desecendants Moving back to Earlston Berwickshire
Theres a Clendinnen Researcher In England, Connected to My line, who has done a Lot of Research into the Clendinnen Line in Ireland, But we are Stuck at a John CLENDINNEN born 1770 In Down
we are thinking that this JOSEPH CLENDINNEN of yours and JOHN CLENDINNEN may be brothers or even cousins as the Name JOSEPH appears in our descendants lists too
Would be great if we could have a CLENDINNEN from this line submit to DNA studies to see if there is definitely a connection as we think there is, but need proof
And what also is interesting one of our CLENDINNEN lot married a ANNAND in canada in 1891, her family being from inverness in canada
Need to see if anyyone has joseph Clindinnens Parents
Note also so many different spellings of CLENDINNEN too
Regards
Cathy:)
