Dr James Woods, Apothecary, Dundalk
« on: Friday 20 December 13 10:09 GMT (UK) »
On the internet, I recently came across the article The Loughross Gaelic Scholar by Sean Duffy about Dr James Woods who was an apothecary in Dundalk.  James Woods (born c 1758, Loughross, Armagh) was the son of Peter Woods of Creggan, Armagh (died March 1778, aged 57 years) and his wife Rose Treanor (died June 1783).

In February 1798, I believe that James Woods married Ann Reilly (born c 1782) at St Nicholas Church, Dundalk.  James Woods died in January 1828 (aged 70 years), while his wife died in May 1859 (aged 77 years).  Mrs Woods was buried at St Nicholas Church, Dundalk, beside her sister Mary, wife of George Tyrrell.

I am trying to find out if James Woods had any children.  I was wondering if any one has any information.

Thanks

David
