Ann Topham Pentrich
« on: Saturday 30 November 13 17:57 GMT (UK) »
A couple of things really.

Marriage of Ann Topham to John Eaton South Wingfield 1725 could somebody check this to see if it gives Ann's father's name (or anything else).

Also I believe she was born in Pentrich, I think either to John and Mary Topham 1700 or John and Jane Topham 1705, I would be interested in John and Mary and John and Jane's marriages to find out what the brides' maiden names were.

Thanks ;)

you can see this for yourself:-

There is a will dated 1729 for a John Topham of Pentrich, Husbandman. It may give some clues to which Ann you are searching for if she is mentioned in the will.

Have you found a death / burial for your Ann?

Hi,

John died Darley 1777, so if this is your John & Ann Eaton could the following entry
also be for your John Eaton.  It is from the book:-

History of the County of Derby by Stephen Glover Part 2  page 264 -
"Rentals of the Corporation of Chesterfield AD 1773. Robert Jinnings, Mayor.

John Eaton   - A Farm at Snitterton    £33. 0. 0.

Connection is (sorry do not know how to shorten):-
