Looking for Ellen, wife of Wm Crowe, Leiston
« on: Sunday 22 June 14 10:44 BST (UK) »
I have been going round and round in circles with this one and wonder if anyone can assist, please?  I have been unable to find Ellen's surname as the FreeBMD records only record William Crowe's marriage (Blything 1853) and there doesn't appear to be a name of his spouse.  Or if there is, I haven't found it yet.

Ellen (according to census returns) was born in about 1833 in Leiston and until her marriage, that is all I can find about her.  I have been following a false thread of an Ellen Scott of Glemsford but that appears to be a red herring.  What a waste of time that was!   ::)

So if anyone has any bright ideas of where I might find Ellen's origins, I'd be delighted to hear!

Kind regards
